Vegetable choline as a replacement for choline chloride in broiler feed

نویسندگان

چکیده

The objective of this study was to determine choline chloride replacement effects by a vegetable source, compost Trachyspermum amni, Citrullus colocynthis, Achyranthus aspera, and Azadirachta indica in broiler feed. These compounds are fonts phosphatidylcholine, high-disponible molecule for intestinal absorption supply. A total 640 animals were randomly allocated completely randomized design, with four treatments eight repetitions (n = 20), zootechnical performance (body weight, weight gain, feed conversion ratio, productive efficiency index), carcass yield, cuts organs (heart, liver, proventriculus, gizzard, small intestine) relative weights evaluated. Were evaluated two levels (600 800 mg kg-1) (100 200 kg-1), added corn-soybean meal basal diet, during 42 days raising. Results revealed better ratio (p < 0.001) production index broilers fed choline, no differences on body 0.372) gain 0.427) among broilers. Carcass, organ do not alter > 0.05) due different group supplementations. Findings trial concludes can adequately replace feed, improvement compromising carcass, or development.

Effect of Encapsulated Choline Chloride on Performance, Carcass Characteristics and Some Blood Parameters in Broiler Chicks

This study examined the effects of various levels of dietary encapsulated choline chloride (ECC) on growth performance, carcass characteristics, serum and liver lipids content in Ross 308 broilers. A total of 480 day-old broilers were assigned to eight dietary treatments with six replicates of 10 birds each from 1 to 21 days of age. Eight experimental diets were provided from a basal non-added ...

Low dose choline chloride in cerebellar degeneration.

Sixteen patients with cerebellar degeneration were treated with oral choline chloride for six weeks at doses of 3 and 6 g daily. Two patients improved with choline but another four improved with placebo. Choline chloride in a dose of 3-6 g daily is no better than placebo in improving ataxia due to cerebellar degeneration.
